Cannescape Dinner & Overnight Event at Mine + Farm

Our second retreat of 2023 took place at boutique bed and breakfast, Mine+Farm Inn, adjacent to the famed Korbel Winery in the beautiful Guerneville, California complete with infused cuisine by Chopped 420 Champion Solomon Johnson, a cannabis + yoga class, a cannabis garden tour, wine tasting and more. The evening kicked off with a CBD and wine happy hour featuring made-to-order pizzas, Artet cannabis beverages, CBD cocktails and wines by Filipina-owned Kabayan Wines and non-alcoholic brand Studio Null. In addition to a meet and greet with Chef Solomon Johnson and property owners, guests were encouraged to chat with sponsors and explore a range of their products and offerings as they mixed and mingled with other guests.

Our main event was Chef Johnson's six course, fully infused dinner. The menu featured a Fall Mixed Green Salad with Crispy Quinoa & Purple Goddess Dressing; Smoked Sweet Potato Veloute with Labneh, Spiced Pepitas, & Parsley Oil; Roasted Cauliflower with Yuzu, Tahini, Toasted Pine Nuts, & Pomegranate; Cold Smoked Salmon Flatbread with Herb Cream Cheese, Capers, Dill, Salmon Roe, Caramelized Leek; Braised Short Ribs with Kanzi Apple & Pomme Puree, Crispy Fried Onions served with Roasted Fall Vegetables; and Red Wine Poached Pears with CO2 whipped Devonshire.

Guests spent the rest of the evening and following morning enjoying the property and amenities which included a hot tub, indoor + outdoor games, fire pits, communal lounge, guest kitchen and gardens. The next day, guests took part in a blissful, relaxing cannabis + yoga class to reset and recharge their mind, body and spirit guided by yogi and cannabis connoisseur, Madeline Berry. This was followed by Harvest 101: a class on how to determine ripeness, trim, dry, pack and cure homegrown cannabis with Mine + Farm owner and cannabis cultivator, Bryce Skolfield.

Breakfast included a Seasonal Yogurt Parfait with granola, berries & CBD honey and Chilaquiles. Coffee was provided by Landrace Origins, a Black, queer and woman-owned single origin coffee company connecting coffee with full flower cannabis.

Sonoma Hills Farm, a premium craft cannabis farm and culinary garden located in the Sonoma Valley's Petaluma Gap Appellation, one of the nation's premier wine terroirs, provided our outstanding produce, meat and more for this event.
