Cannescape's 4/20 Dinner & Overnight Celebration

Our big 4/20 CBD-infused dinner & overnight celebration took place at Dr. Wilkinson’s Backyard Resort & Mineral Springs, Calistoga’s original wellness resort on 4/20. The event was held in conjunction with Calistoga's second annual Wellness Week, which celebrates the region’s renowned mineral waters and mud baths known for their healing and restorative powers. The evening kicked off with a CBD happy hour featuring Artet cannabis beverages and CBD cocktails and bites on the property’s backyard area.

This was followed by an intimate conversation with three cannabis experts: Stephanie Honig, President of the Napa Valley Cannabis Association & Partner at Honig Wine; Jamie Evans, soon-to-be 3x Cannabis Cookbook Author & Certified Sommelier; and Madeline Schwartz, Field Marketing Manager & Resident Yogi. Our speakers led an educational conversation, covering topics that included cannabis and CBD wellness benefits, infused food, balanced consumption, and more.

Our main event was Chef Johnson's six course CBD infused, interactive dinner. The menu featured a Watermelon Kachumbari, Black Bean Soup with Tempura CannaLeaf Crisps, Shertani Egg with Candied Lardon, Ubora Tart with Crab & Caviar, King Salmon with Parsnip Purée, and dessert was an orange, carrot and pineapple Granita. 

Guests stayed overnight at Dr. Wilkinson's and enjoyed the property's amenities which included three mineral pools. The next morning, our guests enjoyed a Seasonal Yogurt Parfait with granola, berries & CBD honey and a savory Pulled Pork Egg Hash. Coffee was provided by Landrace Origins, a Black, queer and woman-owned single origin coffee company connecting coffee with full flower cannabis.
