Strategic Advisor & Cannabis Expert
Jackie leads Cannescape’s cannabis strategy, bringing deep expertise in legal compliance, policy, hospitality, and education to every experience.
She specializes in designing cannabis-inclusive programs that are not only elevated and seamless, but fully compliant, safe, and culturally considered. Her work spans everything from intimate, high-touch gatherings to large-scale activations—ensuring each experience meets the highest standards of regulatory integrity while still feeling thoughtful, engaging, and guest-forward.
Her approach is centered on the belief that compliance is not a limitation, but a design parameter. Through a focus on harm reduction, education, and cultural awareness, she helps bridge the gap between cannabis, hospitality, and the public—creating experiences that are both responsible and relevant.
She has partnered with hospitality groups, tourism organizations, music festivals, educators, licensed operators, and public institutions across the United States—many operating at scale and under significant regulatory scrutiny.
She serves as President of the Napa Valley Cannabis Association, supporting licensed operators and advancing cannabis within Napa Valley’s agricultural and hospitality identity, and contributes to national conversations through the National Cannabis Industry Association.
At Cannescape, her role is to ensure that every experience feels effortless for the guest, while being built on a foundation of expertise, responsibility, and long-term industry credibility.

Founder & CEO
Chelsea is a San Francisco–based food and travel journalist, content creator, and the founder of Cannescape—where her background in culinary storytelling meets immersive hospitality.
With over a decade of experience covering global destinations, hotels, and dining, Chelsea has built her career at the intersection of food, travel, and culture. Her work is rooted in the restaurant world, with extensive exposure to some of the country’s most acclaimed kitchens—including Michelin-starred restaurants and chef-driven concepts that prioritize technique, sourcing, and experience.
After years of living in New York City and traveling internationally on assignment, she returned to San Francisco in 2018 to reconnect with the Bay Area’s dynamic dining and hospitality scene—bringing a more localized, insider perspective to her work.
Her introduction to cannabis came in 2020 while helping launch the social media platforms for the Napa Valley Cannabis Association. It was there that she began exploring the intersection of cannabis, food, and tourism—an emerging space that felt both underdeveloped and full of potential. That exploration became the foundation for Cannescape.
Chelsea’s writing has appeared in Business Insider, Forbes, TravelPulse, SFGATE, Travel Weekly, Thrillist, and more, with additional features across Yahoo and MSN. She has also been recognized as a travel and lifestyle expert in outlets including Travel + Leisure, Refinery29, and Travel Channel.
Beyond editorial work, Chelsea has extensive experience working directly with restaurants and hospitality brands as a social media strategist—supporting some of the Bay Area’s most notable dining destinations. Through her platforms—@cheycheyfromthebay, her Substack New & Hot in the Bay, and her blog Chey Chey From The Bay—she collaborates with chefs, restaurants, wineries, and tourism boards to tell stories that are both compelling and commercially impactful.
At Cannescape, Chelsea brings together her expertise in dining, media, and hospitality to create experiences that feel editorial in perspective, intentional in design, and rooted in the culture of Northern California.
She holds a degree in Political Science from Columbia University.
