Frequently asked questions.

Is cannabis provided at Cannescape events?

No. Cannescape™ does not sell, provide, or distribute cannabis. Our events are cannabis-forward and held in cannabis-friendly locations, but guests are responsible for complying with local laws and bringing their own products if desired.

Is Cannescape legal?

Yes! Cannescape™ operates fully within the bounds of the law. We offer hospitality, events and entertainment services that are compliant with federal and state regulations. Our events do not involve the sale or distribution of cannabis.

Our team is deeply informed on the legal landscape of cannabis and stays ahead of industry regulations. Several members have completed training at Oaksterdam University, the nation’s premier cannabis education institution, ensuring our experiences are designed with both compliance and consciousness in mind.

Legality matters — and our team takes it seriously. With formal training from Oaksterdam University, we bring an expert-level understanding of cannabis compliance, culture, and responsible use to every Cannescape™ event.

Do I need to consume cannabis to participate?

Not at all. Our experiences are built to be inclusive and guest-led. Whether you’re canna-curious or a seasoned consumer, you can participate at your own comfort level — or not at all. There’s plenty to enjoy, including chef-prepared meals, educational workshops, and curated activities that can be tailored to your preferences.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

We’ve got you. All of our chefs are experienced in creating customized menus that accommodate a wide range of dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and allergy-friendly options. Let us know in advance, and we’ll make sure your experience is seamless and delicious.

Is Cannescape available for private events or brand partnerships?

Yes! We offer custom event production for private groups, brand activations, and corporate retreats. If you're interested in working with us, get in touch — we’d love to collaborate.

Where are Cannescape events held?

Cannescape™ events take place in cannabis-friendly boutique properties across Northern California. Past events have been hosted in Napa Valley wine country, the Russian River Valley, and urban sanctuaries in San Francisco. Each experience is site-specific and designed to reflect the local flavor and energy of the destination.

What’s included in a Cannescape experience?

Each Cannescape™ is unique, but most events include:

  • Overnight accommodations at a beautiful, boutique property

  • A multi-course chef-led dinner (infused or non-infused)

  • Wellness-inspired activities like elevated yoga or DIY skin care product workshops

  • Educational workshops on cannabis and how to incorporate it in to your everyday routine and lifestyle

  • Plenty of time to relax, connect, and explore the destination you’re in

Can I attend alone?

Absolutely! Many guests come solo and leave with new friends. Cannescape events are intentionally designed to be welcoming, community-oriented, and inclusive. Whether you're solo or coming with a group, you'll feel at home.

Who is behind Cannescape?

Cannescape™ was founded by Chelsea Davis, a travel journalist and content creator whose global experiences shaped her vision for what curated hospitality should feel like: intentional, beautiful, and deeply rooted in place. Her background ensures that every Cannescape offering includes luxury, high-touch service, and editorial-level attention to detail.

What is your refund policy?

All Cannescape™ experiences are non-refundable. Due to the intimate nature of our events, limited capacity, and the extensive planning that goes into each curated experience — including accommodations, chef partnerships, and wellness programming — we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations.

We understand that plans change, and while we can’t offer refunds, we’ll do our best to work with you if something comes up. In some cases, you may be able to transfer your reservation to another person or apply a portion of your payment to a future event, depending on availability.

For questions or to request a transfer, please email us at cannescape@gmail.com.
